My question is can a hair dryer be used instead?
Since my company is small and just starting out, we don’t want
to pay for heat gun just yet.

Kathy Green January 28, 2011 at 4:57 pm: Eileen, I don’t think a hair dryer will get hot enough to shrink these bands. Did you know that you can buy the gun without purchasing the whole shrink system?
